Kree slowly walked to the door and saw that it was wide open. She smiled for what seemed like the first time in days, "Come on. Let's get out of here."
Both Kree and Jimmy exited the room and heaved a sigh of relief, but it was short-lived.
Jonathan had put all of Jimmy's family into a cage. It was no ordinary cage. The bars were electric. If they so much as grazed it, it was torture.
"And I thought that just living in an insane asylum for eternity was torture." Kree murmured as she looked at the bars.
Jimmy didn't notice that the bars of the cage were electric and grabbed a hold of the bars on the door. His spirit immediately turned a brilliant blue, and his screams echoed off the walls.
Kree gasped and looked around. She didn't know if it would work, because he was a spirit, but she threw a brick at him, expecting it to go through him. It didn't.
Instead, the brick hit Jimmy in the side, causing him to let go. Jimmy laid there, unconscious, and Kree looked at the family, "Where is he?"
The woman stepped forward, "No one even knows where he goes. But he is gone...for now."
Kree nodded her head and bit her lower lip in concentration. She looked at Jimmy, who was slowly waking up.
She looked back at the family. Sarah was in a corner with her legs hugged close to her chest. She was frightened.
Kree had a tear roll down her cheek, "I don't know what to do."
Jimmy sat up, holding his side, "Ow."
Kree smiled, "Man, throwing that brick made me feel better."
