Serenia went home, still thinking about what James was going through. She knew that the way his father was treating him wasn't right, but there wasn't anything that she could do, and it upset her.
She accidentally slammed the door, and her dad ran to the foyer and saw Serenia's face, "What's wrong, hunny?" he was really concerned about her, but Serenia wasn't sure she should tell him.
"Nothing." she tried to move past him, but Paul stopped her."
"Is it drugs?" he asked, saying the first thing that came to his mind.
"What?! No!" Serenia was shocked.
Paul shrugged his shoulders, "I'm just worried."
Serenia sighed impatiently, "Dad, honestly, it's nothing."
Paul felt powerless and was upset that Serenia didn't feel like she could talk to him. At the same time, Paul knew that Serenia was growing up, and maybe this was her time to make an adult decision. Paul just needed to lay back and pray that she made the right decision...
